Stephanie Babcock, RN

In 2009, Stephanie lost her grandma suddenly due to medical neglect. This inspired her to make the switch from chemistry to nursing. At first, her mom had no faith that she would ever complete school, but she persevered and became one of the best Nurses we know.



Stephanie started at our sister facility, Scenic Pointe, in 2009 as an STNA. In 2012, she graduated from nursing school with her RN, but waited until her oldest son was born to start her career. Stephanie joined Sycamore Run while still working at Scenic Pointe in 2013 as a float/flex Nurse working 3rd and 1st shift in whichever building needed her. She then went to work and traveled to various ERs until 2019, when Lori Doerfer convinced her to come back as ADON. In November 2021, she took over as DON.

Stephanie married Justin in June 2018. Together they have four children and three cats, who frequently brings living friends from nature like snakes, chipmunks and bird eggs inside! Stephanie loves to travel to various beaches. She is going on a western Caribbean cruise in late September but is a little worried since she has horrible seasickness!
