Announcing Our 2024 Employee of the Year: Jenna Troyer!

At Sycamore Run, we are proud to honor Jenna Troyer as our 2024 Employee of the Year! Jenna has been a dedicated part of our team for over two years, starting her journey as an STNA before recently transitioning to the role of Activity Department Aide. Her deep connection with residents and her commitment to bringing joy and engagement to their lives have made her an invaluable member of our team.



Happily married to her husband, Derek, Jenna is also a proud mom of three children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and diving into a good book. One of her bucket list dreams is to travel to Bora Bora and stay in an underwater hotel—a reflection of her adventurous spirit!

Jenna’s favorite part of her job is, without a doubt, her residents. Her coworkers echo this sentiment, sharing heartfelt feedback about her contributions. Tracy described Jenna as outgoing, caring, and dedicated to engaging residents in activities, noting her cute and contagious laugh. Sharon praised Jenna’s energy, her willingness to try new things, and her deep connection with the residents. Tammy called her an incredible asset, always going above and beyond to meet the needs of both residents and coworkers, sharing a touching example of Jenna buying a coat for a resident in need.

The residents couldn’t agree more! They describe Jenna as having a big heart, an infectious laugh, and a great personality. They admire her positivity, enthusiasm, and confidence in all she does. Many shared stories of how she takes the time to listen and provide help whenever needed, with one resident saying, “She always helps me with whatever I need. She makes me laugh.”

Jenna, your compassion, dedication, and joy make you truly deserving of this recognition. Thank you for making Sycamore Run a better place for everyone. Congratulations on being our Employee of the Year!
