A Heartfelt Letter to Our Staff

All of us at Sycamore Run are so humbled to receive a letter like this from a recent family. It touches our hearts to feel the true impact our care has on residents and families alike. We know that finding a long-term care facility or rehabilitation center can be difficult, and we thank you for entrusting us with your care.

"I arrived at Sycamore Run at the end of November 2023. There were so many friendly faces and welcoming people. I knew right away that I had made the right choice to come here to work. There is solid leadership, accountability, and trust within the management and administration. Our facility physician is amazing. He is a great educator, as well as kind, caring, and responsive to our residents' needs. These are the people I want to work with!

Our building is so clean and well cared for. Our housekeepers and maintenance do a wonderful job of making our surroundings look lovely and feel like home. Walking into Sycamore was a "wow" moment for me! I encourage anyone from our community to check it out. We have a wonderful team of nurses and STNAs. You can bet your loved one will be well cared for here. The world outside Sycamore's doors has no idea the amount of teamwork that goes into making a schedule work, especially in such a large building. There are so many caring hearts here!

Activities go above and beyond on the daily. Check out Sycamore Run's Facebook page for their posts. Sometimes the posts make me tear up, while other times I am laughing so hard! Recently, we had a bake sale to support our activities. If we have any great bakers out there, call our Activities Director and find out when you can bake a donation. I pondered coming to Sycamore a few years ago. Even though I wish I had explored this option earlier in my career, I am super happy to be here."
